training with your new merchants. One of Paragon's installation
and training specialists contacts the merchant directly
via telephone the day the equipment is scheduled to
arrive - An appointment is set for a follow up call
if the merchant is busy. Step by step instructions are
given, ensuring proper installation. Once the installation
is complete, a test transaction is performed to verify
the terminal can connect for authorizations.

Services provides our clients with a sample training
script that our installation and training specialists
use to train individual merchants. Together with our
clients, we create training scripts, customized to meet
their needs. Merchant training sessions typically run
ten to thirty minutes in order to cover all functions
of the equipment, fromhow to key transactions properly
to daily batch closing procedures. In addition, merchants
are given all help desk and voice approval numbers.
